Original Filson Field Jacket in khaki, made from the iconic Tin Cloth® fabric—an ultra-durable cotton canvas treated with oil and hot wax. The model draws inspiration from the construction and functionality of historic American hunting jackets, offering extraordinary resistance to abrasion, tears, rain, and dense vegetation, with the added characteristic of softening and molding to the body with use over time.
The design is meticulously crafted to ensure maximum thermal comfort and practical functionality in any outdoor situation: the seamless shoulder construction eliminates critical points for rainwater infiltration, while simultaneously ensuring exceptional freedom of movement for the arms.
The central closure combines a robust, light gold-finished two-way metal zipper with a storm flap featuring gunmetal-colored branded snap buttons, essential for protection against wind and rain.
Areas in direct contact with the skin, such as the collar and the interior of the high-placed handwarmer pockets, are lined with warm Mackinaw virgin wool.
At the bottom, large bellows pockets stand out, featuring dual internal compartments, a flap, and a hidden snap button, while the back houses the classic hunting pocket with double side access (via single-slider metal zippers) and a washable nylon interior, perfect for storing gloves, a hat, or small accessories.
The fit is comfortable to allow for layering and can be adjusted to your silhouette thanks to the internal drawstring at the waist, as well as the one at the hem.
