The history of Superga shoes begins in 1911, when the brand was founded in Turin, Italy, by Walter Martiny. Originally, the company produced sports shoes, but in 1925 it launched the model that would become iconic: the Superga 2750, a canvas sneaker with a rubber sole.

In the 1930s, Superga shoes gained popularity among athletes, but were also adopted by fashion and youth culture. During the 1960s and 1970s, Superga became a symbol of casual style in Italy and around the world, thanks also to the adoption by celebrities and fashion icons.

Throughout the 80s and 90s, the brand continued to expand, introducing new colorways and materials, while maintaining the classic and recognizable design. Today, Superga is internationally recognized and offers a wide range of models, remaining true to its roots of quality and simplicity.
