RETURNS AND REFUNDS

 

Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Article 52 of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree 21/2014, the Customer may withdraw from the Terms and Conditions and therefore from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide reasons and without any penalty, within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of receipt of the products.

It is not possible to exercise the right of withdrawal for the purchase of purchased items, key rings and accessories or shoe cleaning products. 

To exercise the right of withdrawal referred to in the previous article 5.1, the Customer must MANDATORILY send a communication to CappellettoShop to that effect, within the specified terms, to the following email address info@cappellettoshop.it , attaching photos of the product confirming the presence of the warranty seal and the cleanliness of the sole, as well as the reason for the return . 

CappellettoShop resells returned products after careful inspection, respecting the environment and avoiding waste! The request for photos of returned products allows us to be sure that the product has not been used. Returned products without prior email communication will only be refunded if the product is exactly as shipped. We kindly inform our customers that products undergo careful quality control before shipping with photographic documentation.

The return is at the customer's expense.

In case of withdrawal, the Customer must return at their own expense the products to  SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL choosing their trusted courier to the following address:

With clear indication of the order number on the front of the package.

If you wish, CappellettoShop can arrange for the return to be picked up . The cost will be deducted from the refund at an additional cost of €10 . *Option available for orders placed in Italy only .

In the case of returns from outside Italy, CappellettoShop can arrange collection upon acceptance by the customer of the shipping cost (€25).

The goods must be returned intact, complete with all their parts and in their original packaging (bags and packaging), stored and possibly used for the time strictly necessary to establish and verify their nature, characteristics and size, with normal diligence, without any signs of wear or dirt, in compliance with the conditions listed below:

  1. the right of withdrawal may apply to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise withdrawal exclusively on part of the product purchased (e.g.: accessories, complements, etc...) 
  2. for the return to be possible, the product must be CLEAN, intact and returned in its original packaging (which must also be intact) COMPLETE WITH THE WARRANTY SEAL. NB: Please try on footwear by placing it on a clean carpet. Returns of footwear that come back to the shop with signs of wear and dirt will not be accepted and will be sent back to the sender. Società Cappelletto reserves the right to recover shipping costs. Furthermore, the user must pay attention when packing the product to be returned: in the event that it arrives damaged due to improper packaging, CappellettoShop reserves the right to refuse the return.
  3. shipping costs (and any customs duties, if present) for the return of the goods will be borne exclusively by the Customer, even in case of refusal of the shipment by the customer. 
  4. Any customs duties incurred by Società Cappelletto SRL for returns from non-EU countries will be deducted from the return refund.
  5. the shipment, until the confirmation of receipt at the warehouse indicated by SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL, is under the complete responsibility of the customer; WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING POSTE ITALIANE FOR THE SHIPMENT OF RETURNS AS THEY DO NOT RESPECT THE SHOP'S OPENING HOURS AND STORE PACKAGES.
  6. In case of damage to the goods during transport, SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL will notify the Customer, to allow him to promptly report the claim to the courier he chose and obtain the relative refund; 
  7. SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL will not be liable in any way for damage, theft, loss occurring during or in any case dependent on the return shipment. 
  8. In the case of a return or exchange shipment, the customer is responsible for the shipment until delivery to the GLS courier and must ensure that they receive the consignment note as confirmation of successful delivery. Do not hand over packages to couriers who do not provide a consignment note.

Once the return is received, SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL will refund the Customer the entire amount already paid within ten working days, net of Shipping Costs incurred by the customer and any customs duties incurred by CappellettoShop for returns from non-EU countries, using the same method used for payment at the time of the order.

Refunds via PayPal and Credit Card will be made within 10 working days of receipt of the return. If, on the other hand, the customer has made a payment via Bank Transfer, they must send the bank account details via email to allow Società Cappelletto Srl to make the refund. The time for receiving the bank transfer is 10 working days from the time of receipt of the return.

    In any case, the Customer will forfeit the right of withdrawal if SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL ascertains that:

    • the returned product and/or its accessories, and/or its packaging are not intact or if the warranty seal has been removed;
    • the product is not in the condition in which it was shipped at the time of the order. 
    • the product is missing its outer packaging and/or original inner packaging;
    • the product is missing integral elements and/or accessories (e.g., closures, laces, buckles, etc.).

    In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, SOCIETÀ CAPPELLETTO SRL will return the purchased product to the sender, charging the shipping costs and, if already refunded, the price of the product.
