1. Shipping Times
Shipping typically takes 1-4 business days from the date the package ships. In exceptional cases, the waiting time may be longer.
2. Order Status
As soon as our goods leave the store, you will receive a SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION email containing a tracking link that you can use to check the status of your order online.
3. Courier
CappellettoShop relies on GLS and SDA as its partner couriers for shipments within Italy. For shipments abroad, we use DHL.
4. Express delivery methods
For almost all locations in Italy, CappellettoShop offers an express delivery service. Your package will be delivered via GLS or DHL courier within 1-2 days of dispatch (depending on your postcode). The exact delivery date and cost will be shown during the order confirmation process, where you can select the "express delivery" option.
- Express delivery takes place Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- If the desired item is available and the order is placed before 1:00 PM, delivery will take place within 1-2 working days after the order (with immediate payment only).
- The following payment methods are available for express delivery: credit card, Scalapay, and PayPal. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, your order will be shipped only after the payment has been credited to our account.
- You can view the status of your express delivery at any time using the tracking code you receive by email.
- Shipping costs within Italy: €8 for orders under €200; free for orders over €200.
- CappellettoShop reserves the right to ask the customer to pay additional shipping costs if the package exceeds the standard dimensions of 65 x 35 x 14 cm (for the purchase of more than one item).
5. Where do we ship?
We ship throughout Italy and worldwide (except Russia, New Zealand, Canada, and Türkiye).
6. Cash on Delivery
Please note that for COD shipments, you must select COD shipping, which costs €10. Cash on delivery is available only for orders shipped within Italy.
We ask our kind customers to confirm and accept the cost of COD shipping by replying to the email we send.
7. Lost package/Delivery with reservation/Damaged package
If you do not receive your order within a week of receiving the shipping confirmation email, please notify our customer service team by email or by calling +39 392 4358704.
Upon receiving the package, the customer must immediately check its integrity. If it appears damaged or opened, they must immediately report it to the courier, signing for it with reservations. Our packages clearly have CAPPELLETTOSHOP adhesive tape on the outside: this must be checked for integrity. Cappelletto is not responsible for any thefts that are not immediately reported to the courier (i.e., upon delivery) and are not documented with photographs showing the damaged package received and the missing goods. CappellettoShop will not be liable for packages accepted from CappellettoShop that are sealed with adhesive tape other than our branded tape.
If the package delivered by the courier presents anomalies or apparent damage, the acceptance with reservation must clearly indicate the reason for which the reservation is being made known to the courier (for example: damaged packages; tampered packages; packages closed with personalized tape other than the company's, etc.). Indicating the reason for the reservation is, in fact, a prerequisite for taking appropriate action against the courier. We remind you that a generic acceptance with reservation, without specifying the reason, is void of any legal action you may intend to take against the courier.
8. Multiple shipments
- If your purchase was successful, you'll receive an ORDER CONFIRMATION email. If you don't receive it, check your SPAM folder!
- Once your package is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION email from which you can track your order.
10. Where delivery is not possible and surcharge for remote areas
Due to the poor import of returns from Canada and New Zealand, we are no longer able to accept purchases from these countries. We are also unable to ship to Russia and Belarus.
Remote areas: additional shipping costs may be required if the courier applies extra costs when sending goods to remote areas, even for the Exchange service.
